The BW Derby is a contest of speed where families or teams unite to design, build, and compete! Families can attend a 'build day' or use provided instructions to build a car.

Balcones Woods is a neighborhood known for exceptional community participation. One family had a dream of a downhill derby, and the neighborhood rallied to make the dream a reality!
Competition

Competition
Competition is divided into co-ed age groups; awards are given to participants with the top three times in each group.
Cars will also compete for:
- Craftsmanship
- Style
- Originality
